It's Tubby again!
Tubby likes to wander along the kitchen floor searching for food. Tubby's hobbies are eating, sleeping, and trying to get out of his cage. In the picture below, Tubby is looking at the camera because he thinks it is food!
During the middle of the day, we give Tubby snacks. For example, we would feed him nuts or rice. Tubby vigorously devours food out of my hand, and it always tickles to feel his wet snout rub against me.
Tubby is getting so big that I feel like he has drunk a growing potion. When my family and I first got him in Maui, Hawaii, he was only five months old. Now he's eight months old!
How long did we have Tubby for?
Isn't Tubby adorable?
@ Abbey,
ReplyDeleteI was thrilled to see that you are continuing to blog! After reading your text, I was impressed with your high-level vocabulary and numerous compound sentences! Go Abbey!
Wow! Lord Tubbington is certainly growing up! I loved the photo of him looking and the camera, especially when you said he was looking because he thought it was food! What a pig he is!
What is the best thing about Tubby? Was is something you'd like to change about Tubby?

Abbey,
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed reading your post about your pet! What an interesting name you picked, it probably fits him well, especially as you say he is growing so fast. What else does he like to eat besides nuts and rice? I found myself wondering how big Tubby will end up being and if he will start having other hobbies such as sleeping on the couch. Keep up the great job writing your blog posts!

Abbey, I would love for you to write a comparison between having a pig as an indoor pet and something more typical like a dog or a cat. Which one is easier to keep? Which one smells better? How much does it cost to feed them?

Abbey,
ReplyDeleteYou have such a cute pig! Does Tubby enjoy belly rubs? I had a friend in elementary school who had one as a pet and he loved belly rubs. Do you think if more people knew how cut, clean, and friendly pigs can be, more people would have pigs as pets?
And to answer your question: You've had him for 3 months! :)
