Passover

Passover is a Jewish Holiday; it celebrates the freeing of the Jewish people from Egypt. It is a very important holiday. Imagine, at one time Jewish people were enslaved and forced to live a life of misery. However,  with God's direction, Mosses freed the Jews to become the wonderful people that they are.

I celebrated passover on March 26 at my Grandma's house. On Passover, I got to see my cousins, my aunt and uncle, my grandma, and I got to spend time with my family.

I got to read the four questions! The four questions are: Why is it that on all other nights during the year we eat either bread or matzoh, but on this night we eat only matzoh? Why is it that on all other nights we eat all kinds of herbs, but on this night we eat only bitter herbs? Why is it that on all other nights we do not dip our herbs even once, but on this night we dip them twice?  Why is it that on all other nights we eat either sitting or reclining, but on this night we eat in a reclining position?

This is  matzoh. We eat  matzoh on Passover because we do not eat leaven bread. When the Jews were in the desert they could not bake bread, so now we eat unleaven bread to symbolize the bread we ate in the desert.

On Passover you dip the parsly in the salt water to represent tears from our plite.

This is a coconut macaroon. It is a yummy pastry to eat on Passover.

                               Do you celebrate Passover?

What's your favorite Holiday and why?

Can you answer any of the four questions?

Introducing Magic

I was inspired by Mallory's post on Introducing Pengy and on Purim Fun With Pengy to write this post.

This is Magic, and she loves fashion more than anything in the world!
Especially her rainbow scarf and her black and white hat. She has a strip of pink crawling down her back, and her fur is like a purple blanket covering her.

When I leave my room to go to school or even go downstairs, I leave Magic on my bed with all my other stuffed animals lying  on my warm, cozy quilt.

I'm pretty sure that when I'm gone, Magic will walk the runway with all my other stuffed animals. With the audience shooting pictures with their cameras.

                                                              Magic's rocking that hat!

Do you have any stuffed animals?

If so, how many do you have? Who is your Magic?

What do you think Magic should wear at her next fashion show?
